Only, there’s a catch: tuberculosis is running rampant, and food is running out (more specifically, apples).
In E3 1915, the goal is to get the latest scoops at the biggest gaming convention by collecting newspapers without running out of food or getting killed by tuberculosis. Large crowds and boxes impede movement, proving underground ladders valuable in getting to the exits.
Powered by Shen’s Hondenkat Engine, the top-down turn-based puzzle game has 10 levels in its Story Mode, but also has an Edit Mode with a custom level editor, letting you take your career as a dapper games journalist to infinity and beyond.
Best of all, it’s free!
E3 1915 is available now for free on the Hondenkat Engine site, NewGrounds, and Kongregate, with Mac and Android releases coming soon.
So what are you waiting for? Do you have what it takes to be a games journalist in the face of disease, famine, and insatiable desires for games? You’ll just have to find out for yourself.
Of course, you can always be a games journalist in real life here on GameSkinny.
