He was born in Canada into a migrant Indian Punjabi Sikh family from Punjab, India. He experienced childhood in the Rexdale neighborhood of Toronto, Ontario.
Nav got leaned towards music after his mom got him a boombox when he was in the third grade. His uncle was a well known Punjabi vocalist in India and carried him to a studio. At first, he started delivering utilizing Sony’s ACID Pro programming.
On May 18, 2018, Nav delivered his introduction studio collection Reckless through XO Records and Republic Records and it highlights visitor appearances from Quavo, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, and Gunna.
The collection crested at #5 on both the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) graph as well as Canadian Albums (Billboard) outline and at #8 on the US Billboard 200 diagram.
