Available on the App Store, the MTA Subway Time iPhone app is a test app released by the MTA for the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and S 42 Street Shuttle lines....
New Netflix Navigation Sidebar Today’s update incorporates a new sidebar on the left side of the screen that makes it easier for you to get to the content you want. The new sidebar features shortcuts to things like “Movies” and “TV” to filter through its enormous catalog by films and shows. It also includes “Search” and “My List” as well as a “New” button to see what’s been added. Instead of endlessly scrolling up and down to find movies, TV shows, and other options like Search and Settings, you can get there directly from the sidebar....

Thieves dressed as Apple Store staff have stolen a total of $66,000’s worth of iPhones in two separate thefts at retail stores in New York. Apple’s Upper West Side store was targeted back in March, when 67 iPhones worth almost $50k were stolen, followed by the theft of 19 phones worth $16k from the SoHo store last week. Police now believe that the same thieves may be responsible for both. The criminals seemed to have done their research well, notes Gizmodo …...
The latest Apple Watch health study has been announced by the University Health Network (UHN) in Canada. The goal of the study is to research how Apple’s wearable can “can drive better clinical outcomes for heart failure patients.” Reported by Newswise, the UHN Apple Watch heart study will be led by renowned Canadian cardiologist Dr. Heather Ross, of the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre....

Last year, Google announced that the future of Gmail will see Chat messaging and group Rooms join the existing Meet video calling integration. This is already available to enterprise Workspace users, and Google is now letting personal Gmail accounts get this “integrated workspace.” Update 6/16: On Monday, Google launched “Workspace for everyone” and officially publicized the ability for free, personal accounts to turn on Google Chat in Gmail.
