Apple has shared a pair of new iPhone ads this week, with one touting the iPhone XR’s battery life and the other focusing on privacy. The new privacy ad is a continuation of Apple’s relatable “Privacy on iPhone” video series. In the new iPhone XR ad, which is entitled “Up Late,” Apple touts that the iPhone XR has the longest battery life in an iPhone ever. The new iPhone XR battery life ad debuts just a week after a consumer watchdog group in the UK accused Apple of overstating iPhone battery life by as much as 51 percent....

As expected, before the release, there are few leaked details on the new MacBook Pros. A leakster named Dylandkt says there will be two MacBook Pro models, a 14-inch and 16-inch. Both will have a storage space of 512GB and 16GB RAM. MacBook Pro Models will Have M1X Configuration The MacBook Pro will have high pixel-density Mini-LED-based screens with a new high-powered M1 processor, which is similar to 12.9-inch iPad Pro....

Instead of being the start of a new trilogy and having a big impact on the future of the X-Men franchise, New Mutants will instead be the last movie in the defunct Fox X-Men franchise before the MCU incorporates presumably new versions of the characters....

New York Knicks’ Marcus Morris has been criticized for making sexist comments about Memphis Grizzlies player Jae Crowder. The comments happened during an interview with Morris, where he negatively compared Crowder’s skills to a woman’s. 30-year-old Morris became a professional NBA player in 2011 when he was drafted by the Houston Rockets. He then moved around from the Phoenix Suns to the Detroit Pistons to the Boston Celtics until finally joining the New York Knicks last year....

Specifically, this code references a 5th Generation AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n capability and a 4th Generation Time Capsule with 802.11n capability (shown above). Additionally, code from previous versions of AirPort Utility (and this new version) confirms Apple’s plan for including software update caching in future AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule models....

Apple will be expanding its retail operations to three new locations in Florida, New Hampshire, and Scotland this week. The first store will open on Thursday at Sarasota, Florida’s University Town Center. Apple launched iOS 7.1 this morning after what seemed like an eternity in beta, making the first major update to the mobile OS since it was redesigned last year.
