A Newsweek magazine signed by Steve Jobs fetched far more than initial expectations at an auction this week. According to a report from CNET, the 1988 magazine was originally expected to go for between $10,000 and $15,000, but ultimately brought in $50,587. Meanwhile, Jobs’ BMW Z8 is predicted to fetch between $300,00 and $400,000 at auction in December… What’s arguably more interesting than the auction price itself is the story behind the magazine....

Over the weekend we reported that developer Niantic had put its Apple Watch app development on hold and therefore likely wouldn’t be making its previously promised end of the year deadline. A design competition from Netflix, Next in Fashion, challenged 18 fashion designers to consistently create quality clothing in a race to win $250,000. The prize was impressive, and so were the high levels of competitive spirit emanating from the contestants. Everyone on the show came to present what they could do, what they have already done, and qualities that they possess as a designer that would help them win. Although everyone wanted the grand prize, some that were more obvious in their approach....

The world has been given its first glimpse of a new Pokémon, as CoroCoro has revealed the outline of the next Mythical monster that will appear in the upcoming pocket monster movie and in the expansions for Pokémon Sword & Shield. Game Freak announced that Pokémon Sword & Shield will have DLC, which will add two-hundred Pokémon to the game, including a mixture of returning Pokémon and brand-new ones. Amongst the creatures, the two expansions for Pokémon Sword & Shield (Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra) will be adding new Legendary Pokémon....
